Right to Life of Southeast Texas (RTLST) was originally started in the 1970's as part of an ecumenical outreach of the Office of Family Life Ministry of the Diocese of Beaumont. It has since become a non-denominational,  independent Pro-Life organization not affiliated with any other right to life committee or organization.

Right to Life of Southeast Texas is a non-profit, all volunteer organization which focuses on all facets of the abortion issue. We provide Pro-Life information on abortion issues and alternatives to abortion which provide for taking the child to full term birth either to be raised by the birth mother or placement for adoption.  We sponsor Pro-Life activities in the area, including an annual Life Chain on the last Sunday in October (involves 13 communities in SE Texas), an annual Pro-Life Rally on the Sunday afternoon closest to the anniversary Roe v. Wade (Jan. 23).   While we do not endorse candidates or otherwise engage in political action, we do provide email notifications to interested parties on local, state and national legislative issues that could either negatively or positively affect the Pro-Life agenda, as well as comparison’s of candidates on Pro-Life issues. 

Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at Christus St. Elizabeth Wilton P. Hebert Health and Wellness Center, 3030 North Street in Beaumont. During the summer months, the meetings are suspended (May thru August normally.)

Annual dues are $10.00 per family or individual. A newsletter is provided periodically as pertinent events are happening as part of the membership fee. Donations to RTLST are not tax deductible.
