Right to Life of Southeast Texas (RTLST) was originally started in the 1970's as part of an ecumenical outreach of the Office of Family Life Ministry of the Diocese of Beaumont. It has since become a non-denominational,  independent Pro-Life organization not affiliated with any other right to life committee or organization.

Right to Life of Southeast Texas is a non-profit, all volunteer organization which focuses on all facets of the abortion issue. We provide Pro-Life information on abortion issues and alternatives to abortion which provide for taking the child to full term birth either to be raised by the birth mother or placement for adoption.  We sponsor Pro-Life activities in the area, including an annual Life Chain on the third Sunday in October (involves 13 communities in SE Texas), and provide an information table at the Catholic Diocese of Beaumont annual Pro-Life Youth Rally on the Sunday afternoon closest to the anniversary Roe v. Wade (Jan. 23).  We also set up information tables at various local venues or events to promote life as well as to garner any donations patrons are willing to make. Notices of those events are posted to the Facebook page we utilize.

We place pro-life banners at Churches, businesses and private properties where they are sponsored. This currently involves about 70 banners throughout SE Texas. For information on sponsoring a banner see the banner tab.

While we do not endorse candidates or otherwise engage in political action, we do provide email notifications to interested parties on local, state and national legislative issues that could either negatively or positively affect the Pro-Life agenda, as well as comparison’s of candidates on Pro-Life issues. 

Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Bridge City. 200 W Round Bunch Rd Bridge City, Texas 77611. During the summer months, the meetings are suspended (May thru August normally.)

Annual dues are $10.00 per family or individual. With your email, we send out notices of any pertinent Pro-Life activities, as well as Legislative Activities for Pro-Life advocates to support. Donations to RTLST are not tax deductible.
